The 7 Forms Of Glucose Daddy Relationships
Contrary to public opinion, being truly a sugar daddy is not a gig that is one-size-fits-all. Based on a new research, posted during the journal Sociological Perspectives, there are seven forms of these “sugar” relationships: sugar prostitution, paid dating, compensated companionship, sugar relationship, sugar friendships, sugar friendships with advantages and love that is pragmatic.
“Whenever we read a write-up about Sugar Daddies or Sugar Babies, I usually saw exactly the same sensationalistic slant: the ladies are desperate, starved students participating in prostitution,” said sociologist Maren Scull, Ph.D., assistant teacher at University of Colorado Denver. “As an individual who studies deviance, we knew there were more nuances that are important these relationships.”
Generally speaking, sugar relationships are derived from companionships, closeness or other kinds of attention in return for individual advantage (economic help, product products, expert development).
Most of these agreements are barely brand brand brand brand new.
