Melbourne heat forces more train cancellations after a major heatwave
A major heatwave that has put train operators in a state of emergency is causing more cancell더킹카지노ations than usual.
The state’s chief disaster services spokesman Dr Tony Schoettle said a number of train operators are cancelling their services for two to three days due to the heatwave.
“What we’re seeing is cancellations by operators in general so our staff have been able to go out and provide additional services,” he said.
Dr Schoettle said the heatwave affected most commuters who were forced to take longer trips on Victoria’s heavy roads.
“People who don’t drive are stuck driving in the cold and this heatwave has been causing quite a lot of anxiety,” he said.
