More th카지노an 1,100 members of the National Mining Association have voted to oppose the Government’s plans to sell out Bowen Basin, which has been sold since 2013.
The decision to sell out the mine comes after more than 1,100 members of the national mining association (NMA) have voted to oppose the Government’s plans to sell out Bowen Basin, which has been sold since 2013.
Ministers are currently evaluating whether to continue with the sale, following earlier government backing for the operation.
Bowen Basin has been the site of intensive government mining and export of minerals since 1998. Since then the site has undergone intensive export activities, including a £200m coalmine, the introduction of coal-fired power stations, and the closure of the coal mine near Clacton, Kent.
The mine was sold to the state-owned Royal Bands in January 2013, when the Government approved the sale to a third party.
Ministers have agreed to keep working with Bowen Basin but said that there would be a transition period of one to 10 years, after which the company has the right to shut down as it sees fit.
‘The Government is committed to keeping these precious resources of the UK to develop them, in keeping with the national investment strategy,’ a Government spokesperson said.
‘If we decide to continue our business on this site, as is likely to be the case, and sell it off over the long term, we will provide further details of exactly the time period to come.
‘The government has repeatedly committed that all assets purchased by the Crown since 1998 will be fully reinvested in our economy and will have a value that is greater than the capital spent on the land at Bowen Basin.'”
It comes after the NMA voted to oppose the purchase of the mine on May 13.
The decision came after Prime Minister David Cameron confirmed plans to sell the Bowen Basin coal mine off last year, during a visit to the area.
The decision means that the mine will be closed permanently and will become a museum, although there is hope a refurbishing work could start soon after that.
