Tigers blues chase second win in six games after going 8-3
By Jeff Fletcher • Jun 24, 2016
Atlanta Braves 7, Houston Astros 3
The Houston Astros were back to their old ways, going 2-3 for just the sixth time all season and losing seven of their first nine games. This series remains very competitive, especially in the top of the first inning, but the Braves can’t afford to slow down until they find the magic word in order to win this series. It’s going to come down to the run scoring; Atlanta has had a huge year scoring runs, but the Astros have given up fewer. While the Braves may be going through a rough stretch, Houston has a healthy run of run support in the lineup and it’s going to be hard to shut down these two teams.
